3. Step-by-Step Usage Instructions

Preparation: Dissolve 0.1g of 1,5-Diphenylcarbazide in 100mL of ethanol to create a 0.1% solution.
Reaction: Add the solution to the sample containing target metal ions. Adjust pH to 1.5-2.0 using sulfuric acid for optimal chromogenic reaction.
Measurement: Use a spectrophotometer to measure absorbance at 540nm (for Cr(VI)) or 490nm (for Hg(II)).
Safety: Wear PPE (gloves, goggles) and work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhalation or direct contact.
